Decreasing intensity
The DON has strongly weakened due to the loss of warlord Spieler and his comrades. But the change in the power relations doesn’t mean that this war is over.
With the exhaustion of the Extra galaxy, and with the loss of their strongest warlords, the formerly leading alliance, DON dropped back to the second position on the Top List, and this kind of change can seriously affect the final results of the tournament.
SGX’s chance to win has highly increased as they are the current leaders. Of course we should not forget that the still very powerful DON still has its strong allies, so the first position of SGX cannot take as granted. Anyway, it seems that the alliances are currently waiting for something to happen. At least this is what the decreasing intensity of the battles show to us, compared to the fights of the first day of the war.
The majority of the main alliances came into action with only a few fleets, and these attacks targeted other alliances instead of their closest rivals. Although ALLIN is currently attacking SGX, we cannot talk about a serious military operation. Talking about the fight between the alliance of KAtrinA and the DON, although SGX's forces has come into action against their rival, they haven’t done serious destruction so far, they could loot a couple of hundreds plasmators though. Some fleets of SGX are still on their way to the 2:7 system, so the main question now is: Can an alliance – which was preparing to defend itself due to the military situation – do serious harm to its opponent?
We’ll find out that soon, but the loss of Spieler and his mates will affect the situation in the long run. Those who are already talking about DON’s defeat are wrong. This war isn’t over yet, since there are giant armies on both sides that are waiting to decide which alliance will be the strongest one of the current tournament.
