Just a human! – analysis of the human race

It’s quite difficult to be a humanist in this cruel universe where humans do not only fight each other, but also the Digitrox, the Khaduuiis and the Piraati. Humans themselves aren’t in such a difficult situation since they have one of the best fleet, and they are also easy to handle. Analysis of human race is made by Warlord Caniz.

Why humans?

I felt that in the alliance where I play, I could give a helping hand as a defender. Since I was also a human defender in another alliance in the previous tournament, I picked humans again. Of course, the human race is not only effective enough for defense, but also for the attacks. Although this race is capable of producing most ship types, this feature is given to them at the expense of diversity. They do not stand out of other races, but at the same time they do not require difficult fighting style. It’s rather easy to fight with them.

Advantages of development

Although humans don’t have any special abilities, but while developing them, it’s still important that they are able to produce more and more effective fleets. Based on the style of the warlord, it is advised to develop and construct. If you are defender, it doesn’t make any sense to develop the probe technology further on from the plasmator probes, and the PDS technology is best to develop until the plasma, but only, if the warlord wants to defend the few plasmators, which they need. The primary fields to develop are the rocket and fleet technology. If you are an attacker, it depends on the alliance if it is worth considering to develop the PDS and defending probe system.

Advantages in warfare

Preliminary advantage of the humans is only that his plasmator stealer class is cruiser, which is hard to fight in the first weeks of the tournament. Of course, it isn’t impossible – especially, if the defense has extra ships, since in this case the defenders can make ships from any class and this primary advantage is lost. It is also worth mentioning that the human race can make four kinds of fighter ships.

As soon you get to manufacturing cruiser class ships, the plasmator stealing ship will have a very efficient cover. It’s a usual strategy to have extra fighters with the cruiser, but also some gunboats and/or devastators may also follow the attacking fleet. Frigates are less frequent, since in proportion they are more expensive, and the loss is huge if these are destroyed. Battleships serve best to provide protection, but during attacks they can make trouble for your opponent, if you are willing to spend the time with long journey.

Other advantages

As for gaining experience, it’s a good idea to have some battles. It’s also not rare at all that the on seeing the human protective fleet, your enemy turns back. Your opponent is more likely to split up in order to avoid the critical battle. Since humans don’t have any special skills, they are rather using brutal firepower to fight their foe. For beginners, the human race is perfect, since they are simple to lead, and they don’t make the game difficult, and they are great to get familiar with basics of gal6. Having the necessary experience, advanced players can use the efficiency of the race to the fullest, since they already know what type of ships they need and in proportions.

The Good, the Bad and the Experience

The worst disadvantage of humans is that their plasmator-stealing ship is of cruiser class; therefore, their attacking fleets arrive at their targets slowly, which makes it possible for the enemy to defend themselves. It isn’t much of a big deal in the beginning, but later on it is. Even if humans can make four kinds of fighters, some of them are so weak even in big numbers, that it makes them worthless. Also, there are some types of ships which could be effective on their own, but they are so expensive, that it still makes them worthless. Since most of the human ships need more metal than crystals, therefore, warlords will usually have more crystal available. The only kind of ship, where this ratio is the other way round is a fighter, but it’s best to plan ahead, so that the warlord is not forced to manufacture this type of ship all the time.

And lastly about the experience: humans are best for those who like brutal firepower, when the enemy is losing many ships. But it’s also annoying to watch others flee, so the human warlord will not gain experience.
